Wireless Point-to-Point Links (PTP) - Using wireless PTP links, customers can achieve the same bandwidths over their wide-area network as are available on their in-building, wired networks. PTP links can operate in all licensed and unlicensed microwave bands and deliver a wide range of bandwidths, from under 10 Mbps to over 1 Gbps. When compared to the price of similar bandwidth capacity leased from wireline carriers, the break-even point is achieved in 12 months or less. In many cases it can be as short as 2 months.

And we complete the installation, configuration, testing and turn-over weeks (and in some cases months) before the carrier’s promised in-service date.
PPT has partnered with a large number of world-class manufacturers of wireless equipment and is able to design and support PTP links of any and all bandwidths. Many manufacturers include AES-128, AES-256 (FIPS197) and FIPS140-2 encryption as an option or as an inherent capability of specific models. PPT can also aquire, install and configure third-party FIPS-compliant encryption appliances.
For the highest data-rate in any given frequency band, it is mandatory that there be a clear line-of-sight between the two microwave radios and no more than 40% of the radio's beam be obstructed anywhere along the path. In cases where a clear line-of-sight is not available and obstructions cannot be removed, there are radio technologies that that overcome certain types of obstructions, such as trees. The trade-off is the data payload carrying capacity of the radio. PPT can design, install and support links where the signal has to pass through obstructions.
